A handwritten Confederate conscription document listing men conscripted from York District, South Carolina, in late 1864. It lists the names of 19 men, their age, to what service they were detailed, and the date. Docketed on the verso.

The document measures about 16” x 12 1/2”. Creased at the original folds. Very minor toning. It was part of the John S. Wilson family archive of Chester District, South Carolina. Wilson served in Company D “Chester Troop,” 1st South Carolina Cavalry.
