An interesting from-engraving CDV view of General Ulysses S. Grant. I’ve always liked this particular image because the artist didn’t quite capture Grant’s likeness accurately, with the hairline being much too high. Grant’s name is written in pencil on the reverse, but there is no studio imprint. Trimmed to about 2 1/4” x 3 1/4”.
