Lemer’s imprint appears on the reverse under a cancelled revenue stamp. Signed, “Yours truly / C. W. Forrester / a. a. a. genl. 2d Brig. / 3d Div 2d A.C. / Adjt. 84th Pa. Vols.” Trimmed slightly to about 2 1/4” x 3 3/4”.
