CDV image featuring the regimental surgeon of the 141st Pennsylvania, Dr. William Church. He was previously assistant surgeon of the 110th Pennsylvania. After completion of his two-year commitment, he was discharged in September 1864. No photographer’s imprint. Signed, “Yours with Respect / William Church / Surgeon 141 Pa Vol.” Trimmed slightly to about 2 1/4” x 3 7/8”.
