Union General Joseph Hooker is featured in this CDV view from Mathew Brady’s gallery. The general appears in a 3/4 standing pose with his major general’s stars visible on his shoulder and a staff and field officer’s sword at his side. The mount is toned with some light foxing, with trimmed corners. The albumen itself has just a few minor flaws. On the reverse is Brady’s imprint. Measures about 2 1/2” x 4”.
