Item No.

A nice late-war quarter plate tintype of a rather disheveled Union soldier posing with his sack coat and sky blue trousers. He is armed with an imported Belgian Lamille a Liege two-band rifle with sword bayonet attached. Behind the sloppy soldier is an attractive camp scene background with tents to the left and a drum on the right. The image is excellent condition as shown. There is a revenue stamp attached to the back marked August 1864. It is housed in a case with repaired hinge.
