A wonderfully detailed steel engraving portrait of President Abraham Lincoln by the Philadelphia engraver John Sartain, after the famous Anthony Berger profile photograph of February 9, 1864. A facsimile signature of Lincoln’s appears below the portrait. Overall framed dimensions, 7” x 9”. Dimensions of the viewable area, about 3 3/4” x 6”. Not examined outside of frame. In our research, we were unable to find much information about this engraving, leading us to believe that it may be quite rare.

The antique frame has a number of dents and dings around its edges.
