A 3 1/4” x 4” unmounted albumen print reportedly produced by photographer Andrew J. Russell and featuring the headquarters of General Alexander Webb during the Bristoe Campaign in December 1864. In it, several officers pose before their tents in a wooded area. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads, “Gen Webb HQ / Brandy Sta.” Webb, then a division commander in the Army of the Potomac’s 2nd Corps, can be seen on the right-hand side of the image, while his staff are arrayed to the left. One man by the tree on the center wears a large trefoil badge of the 2nd Corps on his hat.
