Enclosed please find my summary for February 1864, which I would have forwarded soon had not I have been delayed in collecting dues from Officers of 57th Ga Regt. The balance of Eleven hundred and Sixty dollars as shown in statement is on hand & subject to your orders.

The letter was written on typical thin Confederate paper measuring about 6” x 9”. It is in excellent condition as shown. Very little wear. Creased where originally folded.
