A trimmed piece of patriotic Civil War stationery featuring President Abraham Lincoln and General George B. McClellan, titled "REVIEW OF THE ARMY." It is marked as having been produced by famed lithographer Charles Magnus. The letter was trimmed to save only the decorative portion, which measures about 5" x 3 1/2". On the reverse are a few lines of soldier's letter. The visible portion of the letter on the front indicates the man was a member of Company K of the 77th Regiment, likely New York. Excellent condition.
